Erling Haaland sends a message to other EPL rivals after Arsenal draw on Sunday

Erling Haaland posts message about Premier League title race after Arsenal and Manchester City draw. Arsenal and Manchester City’s goalless draw on Sunday means Liverpool are the new leaders of the Premier League.

The game at the Etihad was a chess match between two managers who know each other very well – Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola. Both sides tried to cancel each other out at different areas of the pitch, and annoyingly for the neutral, it worked and the game ended 0-0.

The Premier League title race is still wide open as a result, but seeing Manchester City in third at this stage of the season is a bit strange.

Manchester City star Erling Haaland had a poor game against Arsenal yesterday, didn’t he?

The Norway international is undoubtedly the best striker in the Premier League and perhaps even in the world. He has scored 29 goals and provided six assists in 35 games, which is a phenomenal return.

However, against William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes yesterday, Haaland struggled and had zero shots on target. Roy Keane even compared him to a League Two striker. The draw against Arsenal means Manchester City are still third in the Premier League table and are now three points behind league leaders Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have a better goal difference as well, which makes them the favourites to win the Premier League title this season.

However, Haaland isn’t giving up just yet. He took to Instagram after the game against Arsenal and confidently claimed that City can come from behind and win the title – just like they did last season.

“We’ve done it once, we can do it again,” he wrote!

Liverpool have a big advantage over Manchester City in the title race

Many people still consider Manchester City as the favourites to win the Premier League title this season – even though they are third in the table.

Pep Guardiola’s side certainly know how to get over the line, but we feel Liverpool are actually the favourites to go all the way.

We’re not just saying that because they are ahead of both Machester City and Arsenal in the Premier League table, but the Reds have a really favourable fixture list too.

Yes, any team can beat any other team in the Premier League, but in our eyes, Liverpool have just two tricky fixtures from now until the end of the campaign – away games against Manchester United and Aston Villa.

The game against Tottenham will also be difficult, but the Reds will be at home, and we all know how incredibly strong they are at Anfield.

In what is an even bigger advantage, Liverpool don’t have to worry about facing Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the Champions League like Manchester City and Arsenal have to.

It’s Liverpool’s title to lose from this point.
