Harry Kane says £50m Manchester City player is one of the fastest he’s ever seen

Harry Kane has chosen three Manchester City legends in the make-up of his perfect footballer.

The England captain finally left Tottenham Hotspur in the summer in the pursuit of long-awaited silverware and joined German giants Bayern Munich.

Kane has gotten off to a great start in the Bundesliga and is currently the top scorer in all of Europe with 28 goals.

But he hasn’t been away long enough to forget all the famous battles he’s had with City over the years, with Kane being crucial in helping Spurs come out on top many times.

The 30-year-old still rates City’s stars highly as attributes from the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker and legend Joe Hart would all make up his ultimate footballer.

Harry Kane says Walker is one of the fastest.

Kane was tasked to create the ‘ultimate footballer’ by 11teamsports on TikTok by picking one player for every trait of a football star.

When asked for speed the rapid Walker was an obvious selection, with Kane naming him as one of the quickest players around.

Meanwhile, assist king Kevin De Bruyne was picked for his passing ability while former City goalkeeper Hart was chosen for his ‘craziness’ as he has a ‘crazy streak’ in him.

Making up the rest of his player was John Terry for defending, Lionel Messi for dribbling, Cristiano Ronaldo for shooting, Roy Keane for leadership and Brazilian Ronaldo for his flair

Good picks

It’s hard to argue with any of Kane’s picks, with his selections of Walker is particularly the money.

Kane will know first hand from playing against him on the pitch and in England training, as well as for Tottenham for a long time. The £50m man is statistically one of the fastest players the Premier League has ever seen.

The right-back has the second-fastest sprint ever recorded by the league at 37.31 km/h, with only Tottenham centre-back Micky van de Ven beating him this season with a sprint of 37.38 km/h.

Meanwhile, it hardly takes stats to back up De Bruyne’s incredible vision and execution in distributing the ball but they back him up anyway.

The brilliant Belgian has been injured for most of the season – only recently returning in the last three matches – but still has more assists than anyone in Europe’s top leagues since August 2022 with 33.
