The Premier League title race looks to be going down to the wire with three teams realistically in the mix.

Man City are, of course, one of those sides. They had the chance to move to the top of the table when they took on Everton in Saturday’s early kick-off at the Etihad Stadium.

It was a chance they took, although Everton did make them work for it – and who else but Errling Haaland to get the crucial goals for City? The Norwegian opened the scoring in the 71st minute before doubling City’s lead with five minutes left to play to take a 2-0 victory, and crucial three points.

With City done for the weekend, eyes now turn to other results that could impact their position in the table. Liverpool and Arsenal are both in action as are Aston Villa and Tottenham, who make up the rest of the top five positions in the Premier League.

Some interesting matches are coming up over the next few weeks as the race for top spot intensifies, and the Manchester Evening News has taken a look at City’s next six upcoming Premier League fixtures alongside those of their title rivals…
