Without much doubts, Manchester City football club will most definitely remain keen on improving their current squad under the management of Pep Guardiola this year.

 

 

The Premier League giants were quite active during the summer transfer window as they completed the signings of Jeremy Doku, Josko Gvardiol, Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes.

 

And that has quite worked out well for Manchester City football club so far this season as they are currently occupying the 2nd position on the Premier League table.

 

 

 

But now, Manchester City football club could be rocked with reports that young right Yan Couto could be on his way out of the club on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

 

 

The 21-year-old Brazil International, who departed Brazilian side Coritiba to sign up for Manchester City football club back in 2020 is yet to seal a place in the Premier League side.

 

The young right-back was sent out on a two-year loan deal to Girona where he played a huge role during the 2022/2023 season as he scored one goal and recorded two assists in 26 appearances in all competitions.

 

Yan Couto has also been impressive for Girona on loan so far this ongoing 2023/2024 season, scoring two goals and providing seven assists in the 24 matches he has played.

 

His excellent performances in defence is believed to have caught the attention of Real Madrid and according to reports from Transfer News Live, the LaLiga giants are keen on signing him.

 

 

 

 

The reports further claimed that Real Madrid are really interested in Yan Couto and are making moves to lure him away from parent club Manchester City football club this year.

 

It is believed that Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti wants to add more firepower to his defensive options and he has identified Yan Couto as a needed addition to his squad.

 

But then, it remains to be seen if Real Madrid football club will be able to reach an agreement with Manchester City and complete the transfer of Yan Couto at the end of the season.
