Premium League table ahead of Saturday game as Chelsea face fulham and ManCity face Newcastle
In this Saturday’s Premier League West London derby, Chelsea and Fulham look to exact revenge after losing their first legs of the EFL Cup semifinals.
After suffering a humiliating 1-0 loss to Middlesbrough, the Blues will be back at Stamford Bridge to face Fulham, who lost 2-1 to a legendary Liverpool comeback.
On Saturday night, reigning champions Manchester City will visit St. James’ Park to play Newcastle United in an attempt to narrow the gap on the Premier League summit.
These two teams are now separated by eleven points in the standings, with the Citizens in third place and the Magpies six spots below in ninth.
Premier League Table Ahead of These Games
Changes are expected in the relegation zone as Burnley face Luton on Friday night.
However, Manchester City can move within three points of Liverpool if they beat Newcastle on Saturday night. In order for Chelsea to move out of the 10th position, they must overcome Fulham.
