Real Madrid legend Tony Kroos in Manchester City for a mega deal as Guardiola is desperate to sign the German talisman….

Real Madrid have been in somewhat of a transition for a few years now. They have seen one legend after another depart, as their incredibly successful team of the 2010s has made way for the next generation. Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr, Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, Rodrygo and more are the future of the club.

Luka Modric and Toni Kroos still remain at Santiago Bernabeu, having signed one-year extensions not too long ago. But their playing time has dropped drastically this season.

As a result, there are major question marks over their future. While Modric, now 38 years of age, is being heavily linked with a move away from Europe altogether, it looks like Kroos still has admirers at some of the best teams on the planet.

As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Manchester City are interested in signing Kroos on a free transfer next summer. The Treble winners are willing to “double” the German midfielder’s salary.

It will be interesting to see what Kroos decides to do next. He has started less than half of the games for Real Madrid this season till now.

He is still 33 years of age though and if there is one thing Kroos has shown when he has been on the pitch, It is that he can still deliver at a very high level. That being said, the German midfield maestro has won everything possible in the game, most multiple times over. So, there is very little incentive for him to continue playing.

Kroos might want to go out on his own terms though and at the moment, he seems to be just a squad option for Carlo Ancelotti. His current deal runs out next summer and he would be free to hold talks with other clubs from January.
After completing a historic treble last season, Manchester City are in hot pursuit of a seasoned Champions League veteran, according to reports.

The club are reportedly prepared to offer a whopping £13million-a-year to secure the Champions League star.
Setting their sights on this high-profile star could further solidify their dominance in the football world, as well as offering an eye-watering salary.

The German international will be out of contract at Real Madrid next summer, and could have his wages doubled by making the move.
