Transfer News: Manchester City planing to offload their Midfieder for €7million fee this month
Without much doubts, Manchester City football club will most definitely remain keen on overhauling their current squad under the management of Pep Guardiola this month.
The Premier League giants were quite active during the summer transfer window as they completed the signings of Jeremy Doku, Josko Gvardiol, Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes.
And that has quite worked out well for Manchester City football club so far as they are currently occupying the 2nd position on the Premier League table after 20 league matches.
Despite their good run of form, Manchester City remain keen on reshuffling their current squad and if reports are anything to go by, then Manchester City are willing to offload experienced midfielder Kalvin Philips.
The 28-year-old England International, who signed up for Manchester City football club after departing Leeds United back in 2022 has been in and out of the first-team squad since he made the move.
The experienced defensive midfielder was quite involved for Manchester City football club during the 2022/2023 season where he made a total of 21 appearances in all competitions.
Kalvin Philips has also been sparingly used by manager Pep Guardiola so far this ongoing 2023/2024 season, scoring one goal in the 10 matches he has played in all competitions.
As a result of his lack of regular playing time, Kalvin Philips wants to leave Manchester City football club this month, and according to reports from Transfer News Live, Manchester City are open to let him go.
The reports further claimed that Manchester City football club are willing to offload the experienced Kalvin Philips in January on a loan deal worth up to £7million.
It is believed that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola does not view Kalvin Philips as an indispensable member of his squad and he is willing to let him leave on loan this month.
But with Manchester City football club demanding up to £7million loan fee for Kalvin Philips, it remains to be seen if any interested party will meet the valuation and sign the experienced defensive midfielder before the window closes.
