🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Benjamin Šeško has finally broken his silence on why he chose Manchester United over Newcastle United, despite the Magpies offering him nearly three times his current salary.

Speaking exclusively after sealing his move to Old Trafford, the 21-year-old Slovenian striker revealed that money was never the deciding factor in his career-defining decision.

🗣 “Yes, Newcastle’s offer was huge, probably the biggest contract I’ve seen in my life,” Šeško admitted. “But football for me is about ambition, history, and the challenge. At Manchester United, I felt something different — the legacy, the fans, the pressure to win. That’s what I wanted.”

According to Šeško, the turning point came during a private conversation with Erik ten Hag. The United boss reportedly laid out a clear vision for how the young striker would fit into the team’s plans, making him feel “indispensable” rather than just another signing. “He didn’t talk about money once,” Šeško revealed. “He talked about football, about how he sees me developing here, about the style of play. That’s what convinced me.”

Šeško also admitted that visiting Old Trafford during negotiations left him “speechless,” describing the stadium as “a place where legends are made.” He said the roar of the fans during his first walk on the pitch gave him “goosebumps” and made him realize this was where he wanted to write his story.

While Newcastle were reportedly disappointed by his decision, Šeško insisted there was no disrespect. “I respect Newcastle, they’re building something great. But for me, Manchester United is the dream. It’s the club I watched growing up — now I’m here, I want to make history.”

With the deal now official, United fans can expect Šeško to be unveiled at Old Trafford this weekend, ready to begin his Premier League Journey.
