Wright reveals Gunners’ concerns

Arsenal icon Ian Wright has admitted he is concerned about weak goals from his former club and questioned Gabriel Magalhaes lack of playing time.

After the 2-2 draw, Premier League Productions asked Wright if he was concerned about what appeared to be sloppy starts.

He replied, “A little worried. There is a bit of a sloppy game. I think they have to make an effort at the start of the games.

“There were times when I was watching the game and I was nervous about us. We don’t seem as confident in the management of the game as I had imagined coming back in the game 2-1.

Ten Hag wants Cucurella deal

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag is keen on signing Chelsea full-back Marc Cucurella over other options and Alvaro Fernandez is leaving Old Trafford.

The Red Devils were looking to sign an experienced player capable of playing at left-back following injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

Brandon Williams left for Ipswich on a season-long loan, meaning Diogo Dalot took the job in Saturday’s win over Nottingham Forest.

United had shortlisted three men for the job, consisting of Cucurella and two other Spanish left-backs; Barcelona’s Marcos Alonso, ex-Chelsea, and Sergio Reguilon who has returned to Tottenham after a loan spell at Atlético Madrid.
United Conspiracy Shock: Hojbjerg Decision

Manchester United are considering a surprise move from Tottenham’s Danish midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, 28, according to a Telegraph report.

Spurs are ready to sell the defensive midfielder and agreed a £30m deal with Atletico Madrid earlier this summer, but the deal fell through for personal reasons.
Salah’s astonishing Saudi offer

Reports linking Salah to Saudi Arabia have not diminished, although Klopp has continued to deny their validity.

Liverpool have sold Jordan Henderson and Fabinho to clubs in this Middle Eastern country. Could they do the same with Salah? CBS Sports reports that Al-Ittihad isn’t backing down and is pushing to land the Egyptian.
