It is no longer a rumor that the formal Chelsea champion could be on his to old Trafford in the summer. Rüdiger is one of the the world most prolific defenders and he is picked to fix the Manchester defence giving to their poor start to life in the new season.

Manchester United, one of the world’s most iconic football clubs, faces a crucial decision in the upcoming January transfer window as they aim to bolster their defensive lineup.

Two standout defenders who could provide a significant boost to the team are Antonio Rüdiger from Real Madrid and Gleison Bremer from Juventus.

Antonio Rüdiger, a German international, has been a rock at the heart of Real Madrid’s defense since joining the club. Known for his strong tackling, exceptional positioning, and ability to read the game, Rüdiger has proven himself as one of the finest center-backs in the world. His versatility to play both as a center-back and a left-back adds depth to his profile, making him a valuable asset for any top club.

Gleison Bremer, a Brazilian defender, has showcased his defensive prowess during his time at Juventus. His imposing physicality, aerial dominance, and composure under pressure make him a formidable presence in the box. Bremer’s ability to carry the ball forward and contribute to the attack could provide United with a dynamic dimension from the back.

Both Rüdiger and Bremer possess the attributes that Manchester United sorely needs in their defense. United has been inconsistent in their defensive performances in recent years, and these signings could provide the stability and leadership required to tighten up the backline. While acquiring these talents may not be straightforward due to competition from other top clubs, Manchester United’s financial clout and global appeal could sway the decisions in their favor. The January transfer window represents an opportunity for the club to make a statement and address their defensive deficiencies.

In conclusion, the potential signings of Antonio Rüdiger and Gleison Bremer would be a significant step forward for Manchester United. These two defenders have the qualities to shore up the defense and provide the consistency required to compete at the highest level. United fans can hope that the club’s management recognizes the need for defensive reinforcements and makes these exciting acquisitions a reality.

Micah Richards has been discussing Manchester United’s recent form on Match of the Day, he couldn’t hide his disappointment.Manchester United had shown signs of a resurgence over the past week. But those signs were false as defeat on Saturday meant it continues to be a record setting season for the club, for all the wrong reasons.

Four losses in the first seven games of the league campaign sees Erik ten Hag‘s side nine points off top and seven points off the top four. It is looking like the season is getting away from United already after just seven games.

But the up and down form is one which is worrying with no clear improvement being seen. This is something Micah Richards has questioned as he was asked about United’s form on Match of the Da

Speaking alongside Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker on the BBC’s Match of the Day, Richards was quizzed on his views of the start to the season for United.

On this, Richards said: “Man United are just disappointing they really are, the size of the club, the players that they’ve brought in, and you’re looking for something every week when are they gonna get it right?”

He continued that despite slight improvements, it always ends up with the same conversations as he also asked the key question, when will it improve?

“But it just goes on, they’re seven points off the top four and they’ve only scored seven goals in seven games this season, everyone in the top four has scored at least double that, and the problems just seem to continue, when are they gonna get better? Hopefully soon.”y.

The Issues at Manchester United keep persisting despite the odd improvement and the issues seem clear although they are difficult to solve.

We have seen in recent weeks, a possession based style attempted by the gaffer, but he still doesn’t have the players for this. Casemiro isn’t a Rodri style of player, with Lisandro Martinez out we are lacking a second line-breaking defender next to Raphael Varane.

Along with these issues, too many of our attacking players are making poor decisions, likely due to years of having little tactical identity and style.

Ten Hag has a job on his hands to sort these issues out, but it is worth noting that should the players that are the issue not improve, the youth are perfect and ready made replacements.
