As Manchester United prepare for their highly anticipated return to Old Trafford, CEO Omar Berrada has offered key insights into the club’s summer activities — both on and off the pitch.

In a recent interview, Berrada reflected on what has been a crucial period of transition and ambition for the Red Devils.

“This summer has been about laying the right foundations,” Berrada stated. “We’re not just thinking about the upcoming season — we’re planning for sustained success.”

He acknowledged the importance of the club’s recent signings, particularly Benjamin Šeško, whom he described as “a player who represents our vision — young, dynamic, and hungry.” He also hinted that United aren’t done yet in the transfer market, noting, “We’re working behind the scenes to strengthen key areas. Our ambition is to compete at the highest level across all competitions.”

Berrada addressed the role of the club’s new football structure under INEOS, saying, “Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the INEOS team have brought in a sharper, more efficient decision-making process. We’re more aligned than ever.”

He also paid tribute to the fans, who have remained loyal during a period of change. “Their patience and passion have been incredible. We want to give them a team they can believe in — one that fights for every ball and brings pride to Old Trafford.”

On the commercial front, Berrada confirmed that the club’s financial position has improved significantly, aided by smart business, outgoing transfers, and wage reductions. “It’s allowed us to be more strategic and aggressive in the market,” he explained.

With the Premier League opener drawing near, Berrada concluded with optimism: “We’re moving in the right direction. The road ahead is long, but we’re building something powerful.”
