Harry Maguire posted a heartfelt message on social media over an impending exit from Man United.
Maguire has been a key part of Ruben Amorim’s side this season, earning a one-year extension to his contract back in January.
He made 31 appearances throughout the campaign, regularly playing as the central figure in a back three, where his experience brought some much-needed composure to a defence that has lacked senior leadership at times.
Despite some Man United fans questioning Amorim’s decision to hand Maguire an extension, he has proved to be an important presence both on and off the pitch.
However, the defender shared a farewell message online, dedicating it to a long-serving member of the club’s backroom staff.

The centre-back has had his fair share of injury troubles this season and only recently returned from a calf issue while Binningsley is likely to have aided him in his recovery.
Meanwhile, despite Maguire receiving criticism from Man United fans this season, he has enjoyed something of a resurgence under Amorim. The decision to trigger a one-year extension on his deal back in January gave the club breathing room to either negotiate new terms or avoid losing him on a free transfer this summer.
However, Football Insider revealed that Maguire is expected to hold fresh talks with Man United regarding his long-term future, as he would once again enter the final 12 months of his contract next season.

Everton prepare new deal for Jarrad Branthwaite amid Manchester United interest
If United opt to move on from Maguire in the near future, one name repeatedly linked as a long-term replacement is Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite.
But they may face a setback in their pursuit of the 22-year-old. Football Insider revealed that Everton are preparing to open talks with Branthwaite over a new contract to ward off growing interest.
Former Manchester City financial adviser Stefan Borson also told Football Insider that Branthwaite could become the highest-paid player at Everton should he sign an extension.
If United plan to push for a move, they may need to act quickly. For now, however, Maguire remains the man holding down the role at the heart of United’s defence.
