The Red Devils have already finalised four big deals this summer. Joshua Zirkzee was the first to join the club from Italian Serie A side Bologna. Leny Yoro followed later after sealing a switch from French Ligue 1 side Lille. Then, it took a while, but United were able to seal two deals after Yoro, signing Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich, but they are not done yet.

 

According to Football Insider, United are still Ken on reinforcing their midfield this summer and are close to sealing the signing of Manuel Ugarte with the club actively working to expedite discussions with Paris Saint-Germain.

 

The report claims that the Old Trafford side are looking to finalise a deal for the Uruguayan in the coming days. Should the transfer go through, he would become the fifth player to join the club’s first-team squad this summer.

 

Furthermore, The 23-year-old midfielder is reportedly eager to make the move to Old Trafford, as revealed by top Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. Ugarte is said to be tempted by the ongoing project at United and desires to continue his career at the Manchester club.

 

 

 

While he patiently waits for the two clubs to reach an agreement, Manuel Ugarte is estimated to be worth approximately £45 million by the Parasians – as revealed by GOAL, so it remains to be seen how much United are willing to pay for his services.
