L!VESTREAM: Wa¥ch Aston Villa v Manchester United| Prem!er League – Engl!sh commentary

Manchester United are set to take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday in what can turn out to potentially be Erik ten Hag’s last game as Red Devils boss.

It is being widely reported that a loss at Villa Park could spell the end for the Dutch coach.

Ten Hag has looked clueless on the touchline so far this season. Despite a number of new signings and the board backing him immensely, the results have just not happened so far this season – with the exception of three games.

Against Aston Villa, Man Utd desperately need a win and the Red Devils need to step up as a team. With such factors in mind, we take a look at how Ten Hag can set his team up against Unai Emery’s side who are in top form.

Predicted Man Utd 4-2-3-1 XI vs Aston Villa

Andre Onana is expected to start in between the sticks. He has been one of Manchester United’s lone shining lights so far this season, with the Cameroonian international saving the Red Devils of their blushes against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

In front of him is set to be a backline comprising Noussair Mazraoui from the right, Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez through the centre and Diogo Dalot from the left. The two new signings will be hoping to step it up after a few not-so-great weeks.

Manuel Ugarte and Christian Eriksen are expected to start in the base of midfield with the Uruguayan looking to recover after a difficult display against Tottenham last week. The Dane is another player who has had a very good impact this campaign so far.

Bruno Fernandes, after seeing his red card decision overturned over the weekend, is expected to start as the #10 on the evening although his form is leaving a lot to be desired. Marcus Rashford is certain to start from the left with Amad Diallo looking set to feature from the right.

Rasmus Hojlund should retain his starting berth through the middle as he looks to follow up on the goalscoring display against Porto. It remains to be seen how Ten Hag turns around the situation against Villa. If not, we might have seen the last of the Dutch coach.
