United have so far completed the signings of Leny Yoro from Lille, Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and former Bayern Munich duo Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui. However, they are not set to stop there and could welcome new faces between now and next week’s deadline on August 30.
Manuel Ugarte is a name that has featured prominently this summer and United are determined to get a deal over the line. Sander Berge was also on their radar but he has agreed a move to Fulham from Burnley.
In terms of outgoings, academy graduate Will Fish has agreed a move to Championship side Cardiff City and Uruguay winger Facundo Pellistri has completed a move to Panathinaikos as United continue to trim down their first-team squad.
Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho and Scott McTominay continue to attract interest. The latter has entered the final year of his contract at Old Trafford but United have the option to extend it for a further year.
