Man Utd defeat leaves Nottingham Forest owner furious at PGMOL’s official complaint

Nottingham Forest are reportedly considering filing a complaint with PGMOL over Stuart Attwell’s performance during their Premier League defeat to Manchester United. Attwell controversially fired Forest Captain Joe Worrall, while several other decisions left Chief Steve Cooper furious.

Worrall was sacked after being judged to have defeated Bruno Fernandes last man. Forest were furious again minutes later when Marcus Rashford earned a controversial penalty.

Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis was allegedly so angry watching the match from his base in Greece that he is considering filing an official complaint with PGMOL. Further anger erupted when Scott McTominay was only shown a yellow card despite appearing to aim a kick at Cheikhou Kouyate

Willy Boly tried to cover for Fernandes’ run as the United captain fired towards the penalty area before being brought down by Worrall. However, the VAR confirmed the red card and Worrall pulled away again to make it 2-2.
