Manchester United are back in crisis mode after the dismal draw against Brentford on Saturday.
The Red Devils were lucky to escape their clash with the Bees with a draw. The performance has put pressure on boss Erik ten Hag to turn things around, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe unhappy with recent displays.
But Ratcliffe is battling dressing room unrest at one of the other clubs he owns in Nice. That unrest comes as Jamie Carragher picked out Kobbie Mainoo as the player he would most like to see feature for Liverpool.

Carragher makes Mainoo claim
Jamie Carragher has picked out Kobbie Mainoo as the one Manchester United player he would like to have in Liverpool’s team. Mainoo has starred in his breakthrough season for the Red Devils, with Carragher the latest to hail the youngster.
“I think I’d probably take the young kid Mainoo. His age, number one, I think he looks like a superstar and he could go on to be a real superstar,” Carragher told The Overlap Fan Debate.
“I’m trying to think who else in the United team is better playing in their position. But I think with Mainoo in central midfield. Yeah, I would go with him just for the age factor.”

Anthony Taylor will take charge of Manchester United’s clash with Liverpool on Sunday.
Anthony Taylor has been confirmed as the referee for Manchester United’s clash with Liverpool on Sunday. But that decision has sparked fury from Reds fans due to the fact Taylor is from Greater Manchester.
Taylor is a fan of non-league side Altrincham and has had several run-ins with Jurgen Klopp. He was in charge of Liverpool’s famous 5-0 thrashing of United back in 2021, though Reds fans have still voiced concerns.
“I’m sure that Greater Manchester’s Anthony Taylor will be fair & impartial when Liverpool play Manchester United at Old Trafford in Manchester,” wrote one. “Why do Manchester clubs get Manchester referees?” was the verdict from another.

Ratcliffe facing dressing room unrest
Manchester United chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe is facing dressing room unrest at Nice, a club he also owns. Ratcliffe has owned Nice through his company Ineos since 2019, though they have endured a nightmare run of one win from eight games.
Following Saturday’s defeat to relegation-battling Nantes, keeper Marcin Bulka has hinted there are problems at Ratcliffe’s club. Bulka pointed the finger of blame for his side’s miserable run at the door of his team-mates.
He said: “I don’t understand some attitudes in the team. We’ll speak about it in the dressing room, not in front of the camera. Everyone needs to look themselves in the eyes and ask themselves if they are showing desire.”
