Manchester United Eye Fulham’s Antonee Robinson Amid Transfer Speculations

Manchester United are closely monitoring the situation of Fulham’s left-back Antonee Robinson, with a potential move contingent on Fulham’s ongoing transfer dealings. The Cottagers are reportedly keen on signing Ferdi Kadioglu from Fenerbahce, and if they secure the Turkish star, it could pave the way for Robinson’s transfer to Old Trafford.

Robinson has attracted interest from various Premier League clubs throughout the summer, including West Ham United. Despite this, no deal has materialized, and he remains with Fulham after starting their season opener. However, with Fulham now making a significant push for Kadioglu, the dynamics of Robinson’s future could shift.

According to Turkish outlet As Marca, Fulham submitted a bid of €39 million (£33.3 million) for Kadioglu on Tuesday. Fenerbahce, however, are holding out for a fee closer to €45 million (£38.5 million). Brighton have also expressed interest in Kadioglu, but if Fulham can meet Fenerbahce’s asking price, they are likely to secure the player.

 

Should Fulham successfully land Kadioglu, Manchester United are prepared to escalate their pursuit of Robinson. The Red Devils are in need of reinforcement at left-back due to ongoing fitness concerns surrounding Luke Shaw and the injury absence of Tyrell Malacia, who has not featured since the end of last season.

 

Robinson, who enjoyed a standout season as one of the Premier League’s top left-backs, could provide United with a reliable alternative. His speed, defensive capabilities, and attacking contributions have made him a key player for Fulham, and his extensive Premier League experience would be a valuable asset for United.

 

Having made 137 league appearances and earned 46 caps for the United States, Robinson’s experience and consistency make him a strong candidate for United, especially as they look to address their left-back vulnerabilities.
