Manchester United fans are all saying the same thing about new signing Noussair Mazraoui after his debut performance against Fulham at Old
Manchester United fans have made their feelings clear on new summer signing Noussair Mazraoui after his debut performance against Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday evening.
Noussair Mazraoui arrived at the Premier League club alongside former Ajax teammate Matthijs de Ligt after Manchester United signed the pair earlier this week.
United agreed a deal worth nearly £60m to land Morocco full-back Mazraoui and Netherlands defender Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich this summer.
Both Mazraoui and De Ligt were reunited with Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford, having played under the United boss during their time at Dutch side Ajax.
Mazraoui was all but certain to arrive at the Red Devils this summer after former United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka completed his transfer to West Ham.
West Ham were linked with former Bayern Munich star Mazraoui before a move failed to materialise, with the Hammers instead targeting Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Mazraoui’s Man Utd debut vs Fulham
Manchester United kicked off their 2024-25 Premier League season on Friday evening when they welcomed Marco Silva’s Fulham side to Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag wasted no time in handing Noussair Mazraoui his Premier League debut by putting the former Ajax and Bayern Munich star in the starting XI.
Mazraoui started out at right-back while Diogo Dalot was swapped to the opposite flank due to the absence of Luke Shaw, who is currently out of action with an injury.

The 26-year-old United summer signing was superb in the first half at Old Trafford and was confident both on the ball and off it during his club debut.
Mazraoui continued to produce a solid display in the second half, with the Morocco international operating effectively well both defensively and attacking-wise.
The United star was withdrawn by Ten Hag in the 81st minute and replaced by fellow summer signing Matthijs de Ligt for the remainder of the match.
Man Utd fans react to Mazraoui’s display vs Fulham
United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, waxed lyrical about Mazraoui’s club debut against Premier League side Fulham.
Red Devils supporters claimed that the United right-back is a “serious upgrade” on Aaron Wan-Bissaka when it came to his attacking qualities down the flank.
Other United fans, on the other hand, were baffled by how Bayern Munich allowed Mazraoui to leave the German club for only an initial transfer fee of £12.8m.
“Mazraoui is pure class, feels like [he has] been with us for ages,” one fan said.
“Mazraoui is a big upgrade on AWB,” someone else commented.
Another added: “Mazraoui has been a serious upgrade. Far much better than Wan-Bissaka if we’re being real.”
“Moving from Wan-Bissaka to Mazraoui might be the best feeling this season,” a fourth posted.
While a fifth X user wrote: “Mazraoui plays like he has been reading a script, he is smart, looks like he knows exactly what he needs to do at every time… [Diogo] Dalot could be sitting if the LBs are fit. Interesting competition for places.”
Somebody else simply tweeted: “How the hell did we steal Mazraoui for [only] £12.5m?”
And a seventh said: “Noussair Mazraoui is looking fantastic, Wow! So smooth, tidy, and technical footballer that massively raises the ball retention level of the team.”
An eighth argued: “Mazraoui already looking like a solid upgrade on AWB. As much as I loved AWB, his ability in possession hindered us so much.”
Manchester United opened their 2024/2025 English Premier league campaign with an impressive win against Fulham at Old Trafford in what was a must win match for the Red Devils who hope for the best this season.
Erik Ten Hag who has already gotten four brilliant signings gave right back Noussair Mazraoui his debut in what many expected to be a perfect start for the Moroccan.
Mazraoui who signed from Bayern Munich proved to be an asset for the Red Devils as he was greatly involved in the team work with attacks and even defended well.
The huge performance from the Moroccan earned him huge praise from some of the Manchester United’s legends like Gary Neville who shared perfect words for his great debut.
Gary Neville stated: “Given that Fulham have pace in wide areas and Old Trafford is a big pitch. This was Noussair Mazraoui’s first game, he’s only just joined the club”.
“I thought he had a really good game. He settled in really well”.
take a look at some of the comments from the Manchester United Fans about how good Noussair Mazraoui performed well in his Old Trafford debut game:
Milton: performance was excellent today. He really helps to stabilize Man United defense. Very impressive!
Brian; He played really well and was press resistant. His ball recovery was also on point.

Manchester United welcomed their four new signings to Old Trafford ahead of kickoff vs. Fulham on the opening night of the 2024/25 Premier League season.
Erik ten Hag completed a double sweep of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich earlier this month after signing Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro in July.
The Dutch manager has now spent over £150 million this summer and is taking charge of his third campaign.
They finished eighth last season, their worst-ever finish. They did, however, win the FA Cup which kept Ten Hag in his position.
Yoro, who United signed from Lille for £52 million was brought out onto the pitch with De Ligt, Mazraoui and Zirkzee to be welcomed by the fans.
He is not going to be able to show what he is capable of until around November as he suffered a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in preseason against Arsenal.

Mason Mount joins Casemiro in midfield with Kobbie Mainoo also starting.
