Manchester United: New report reveals Jadon Sanc’s true size

Things aren’t looking good for the United winger…

HIGHLIGHTS

Jadon Sancho’s career at Manchester United is in danger as he has been banned from the first team.

Sancho’s exclusion follows a public disagreement with coach Erik ten Hag over comments on his training performance.

Despite the suspension, Sancho has refused to apologize to Ten Hag and there are rumors that United could sell him at a discount in the January transfer window.

New details surrounding Jadon Sancho’s suspension from Manchester United’s first team have been revealed and it appears his career at Old Trafford is hanging by a thread. Erik ten Hag has ruled the United man out of training sessions and selection for the day since responding publicly on social media to the manager’s comments following United’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal. The Dutchman had explained that Sancho’s performances in training were not up to standard, which is why he was not selected. Sancho later released an explosive statement online in which he denied the comments and claimed he had been made a “scapegoat”.

Reports said Sancho had been training alone since the incident and would have to apologize to Ten Hag if he wanted to return to the first team. With the winger unwilling to apologize for his comments, there is uncertainty over what could happen next.

Sancho completely excluded from the facilities

And now a new report has revealed the true extent of Sancho’s ban, with Ten Hag using the player’s outburst to set an example for other members of the squad. A report in the Mirror on Monday evening revealed that Sancho had been banned from using all first-team facilities at United’s Carrington training base. The 23-year-old has been banned from the catering facilities used by the first team, with Sancho now forced to eat with the youth team. He is reportedly unhappy about being banned from all areas of the first team but has refused to apologize to Ten Hag despite now deleting the statement on social media.

According to club sources, the incident was the final straw for Ten Hag, with Sancho arriving late to training several times. One source also described that there was no willingness on the manager’s part to change his mind about what should be done.

“There is a simple way to resolve this situation, which is for Jadon to apologize to the coach. Something has to give – and it won’t be the manager.

What’s next for Sancho and United?

Sancho’s last appearance for United came in a 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest at the end of August and, unless something changes, it could well be his last appearance for the Red Devils. According to the Daily Star, the club are ready to sell him at a significant discount during the January transfer window.

A sale would end a disappointing transaction for both parties. After shining for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, Sancho has failed to live up to expectations since his £73m move to the Premier League. Only nine league goals were scored in that period, compared to the 38 scored at Signal Iduna Park.

Unless the player and manager can overcome the impasse they are currently facing, United’s matchday teams will continue to lose their number 25. Having beaten Burnley in their last game, they now face Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup before hosting the Eagles. competing again on Saturday 30 September.
