Manchester United news as Ruben Amorim’s men come away from Anfield with a point and pride after a troubling period

Amad rescued a point for Manchester United at Anfield against Liverpool

Manchester United bounced back from their poor run of form with a spirited display to earn a 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

In a thrilling second-half on Merseyside, United rescued a point thanks to Amad. Lisandro Martinez had put United ahead before Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah turned the game around for the hosts.

Amad converted Alejandro Garnacho’s low cross to level the scoring and end United’s losing run. Ruben Amorim’s men were unfortunate not to win the game with Garnacho coming close and Harry Maguire blazing over in the dying seconds.

Following the draw with Liverpool, MEN Sport takes a look at United’s upcoming matches compared to their rivals…
