Manchester United slam €60 million (£52 million) price tag on Sancho
Manchester United have set their Jadon Sancho asking price, according to Bild.
Sancho is currently training separately from Manchester United’s first team after claiming that he had been unfairly blamed for the club’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal this month, which resulted in him being left out of the squad.
Ten Hag, addressing the media, stated that Sancho’s exclusion was due to his underwhelming performances during training, a claim that the 23-year-old winger strongly denied in a social media post.
As a consequence, United declared that Sancho would remain in isolation, following an individual training regimen away from the primary team until he offers an apology to Ten Hag.
The Mirror reported that Sancho is currently restricted from using any of the facilities at United’s Carrington training complex, including the team dining area, to prevent any disruption within Ten Hag’s squad.
With this situation showing no signs of resolution, there have been tentative rumors linking Sancho to a move to the Saudi Pro League, and his former club, Borussia Dortmund, has also emerged as a potential destination for the English international.
Sancho had a successful spell at Dortmund from 2017 to 2021; however, according to the German publication Bild, Dortmund has concerns about re-signing him.
According to the Bild report, discussions about Sancho’s behavior during his time at Dortmund were frequently held privately, and some influential individuals within the club are concerned that it could disrupt the current team.
Another possible obstacle is the financial aspect, as per Bild’s information, United would rather sell Sancho than loan him and have set a price of €60 million (£52 million).
