Here is a roundup of the top Manchester United news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –
Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte
Ugarte, 23, joined the French club from Sporting last summer after spending the previous two-and-a-half seasons in Portugal. He moved to Europe from South America as a teenager, months after debuting for the senior Uruguay side
While he was a first-team regular during the first-half of the season under Luis Enrique, he lost his place in the side in the second-half of the season.
Despite that fee only being spent 12 months ago, when the Uruguayan signed a five-year deal, the Guardian reports that PSG may be willing to sell him this summer for just €45m (£38m

If Manchester United really wanted to sign the player this summer – if they believed Ugarte would add to the side – then we are sure that the board would get a transfer deal done.
But despite the reports that he has been offered to many clubs – it looks like the player would like to make the move to Manchester and join United – they are seemingly leading the chase for the player.
But anything can happen in football and if the the right club offers a bigger amount of money – then United will miss out. So if they really wants the midfielder – then they need to hurry up and try to get a transfer deal done, rather than waiting around.
GREENWOOD LEAVES –
Mason Greenwood has left Manchester United to join French club Marseille on a permanent transfer.
The French club’s pursuit of Greenwood has sparked outrage within the city due to the charges of alleged attempted rape, assault, and coercive and controlling behaviour against him that were dropped in February 2023.
The 22 year-old forward, who spent last season on loan at Getafe in Spain, made 129 appearances and scored 35 goals for United since making his debut in 2019, but has now left Man United.
A statement from United reads: “Mason Greenwood has left Manchester United and joined French club Olympique de Marseille on a permanent transfer.
“The 22-year-old English forward, who spent last season on loan at Getafe in Spain, made 129 appearances and scored 35 goals for United since making his debut in 2019.
“We wish Mason all the best in his future career.”
Greenwood shared an image of him signing his Marseille contract, writing in the caption of his Instagram post: “Really excited for this new chapter.”

Many clubs dont know what to do with Greenwood as he was never prosecuted with anything and he is living his life. But he did show at Getafe last season that he is a quality player that still offers clubs alot.
This will be seen as a great bit of business by Marseille – but it will be interesting to see if the French sides fans can come to terms with what happened in the past – as it will determine just how much Greenwood performs on the pitch.
