Manchester Utd delighted to see David De Gea return to training

David De Gea is back in Manchester. The Spanish goalkeeper returned to the UK on Monday.

According to the Daily Mail, the 32-year-old is spending some days sorting out the house in Hale where he lived until he left United after 12 years at the end of June.

De Gea has since moved to the family home in Madrid, where he is living with his pop star partner Edurne Garcia and their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Yanay.

Some United supporters have mischievously noted that De Gea remains a free agent, as Andre Onana struggles to impress at Old Trafford.

However, it’s understood that De Gea is relaxed over his future and is not rushing to find a new club.

Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes was involved in a dressing room fight that involved three other players, The UK Sun reports.

The squabble followed the Red Devils’ 3-1 defeat to Brighton in the Premier League last weekend.

Fernandes is said to have confronted Scott McTominay after the match at Old Trafford.

The centre-back pairing of Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof also engaged in a heated exchange in the dressing room.

It took manager Erik ten Hag’s intervention to restore order among his squad.

United have now lost three out of their first five Premier League matches and sit in 13th place on the table.

They are away to Bayern Munich on Wednesday in their first Champions League clash of the season.
