Sofyan Amrabat sends message to Man Utd fans, Bruno Fernandes responds

Sofyan Amrabat made his long-awaited Manchester United debut in the Red Devils’ win over Burnley.

Manchester United had to wait a long time to win a football match. Three defeats and an international break make the 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest seem like a long time ago.

Last night Manchester United won 1-0 at Burnley, thanks to a beautiful goal from Bruno Fernandes.

But if he had been a sloppy own goal, he wouldn’t have made much difference; it was simply crucial to get all three points. Burnley FC vs Manchester United – Premier League

Sofyan Amrabat makes his debut

As well as the satisfaction of securing all three points, there was also the debut of Sofyan Amrabat, who was loaned out on deadline day and did not start due to injury.

Amrabat came on as a late substitute as Manchester United looked to close out the match and secure all three points.

And despite the absence of a late free kick and a bit of rust, it was a successful start for the Moroccan as United secured the coveted winning combination without conceding a goal.

Amrabat sent a message to his fans on Instagram: “It’s a great feeling to make my debut, I’m happy with this victory. Thanks for the warm welcome!”

There were messages of congratulations from teammates Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo. The first launch awaits Amrabat

It was important for Sofyan Amrabat to get some minutes and this week presents an ideal opportunity to do so.

Amrabat has a real chance of starting when Manchester United host Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.

There aren’t many replacement options due to injuries, but it’s likely Casemiro will get a break if Amrabat comes into play.

If he goes well, they could have the chance to meet in the Premier League next weekend when United host Palace again.
