West Ham United agree to sign Manchester United star as Ref Devils has already made a replacement

West Ham United have reached an agreement with Manchester United to sign Aaron Wan-BIssaka in the ongoing transfer window.

After failing to convince Noussair Mazraoui to move to West Ham, the Hammers turned their attention back towards Wan-Bissaka.

Talks resumed between West Ham and Manchester United for a player who has a year left on his contract at Old Trafford.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, an agreement is now in place between the two clubs for Wan-BIssaka to return to England with West Ham.

The two clubs are now aligned on the fee for the defender but West Ham are yet to agree personal terms with Wan-BIssaka.

However, it has been claimed that West Ham’s salary offer is likely to convince him to move to London Stadium.

Wan-Bissaka was claimed to want a move to Inter, but he is now tipped to head to the London Stadium.

Manchester United have also lined up Mazraoui as his replacement and have a deal in place with Bayern Munich.

The Red Devils have agreed to pay a fee of €25m to the German giants for the right-back this summer.

Personal terms are unlikely to be a problem as the defender has been keen to move to Old Trafford and work under his former Ajax manager Erik ten Hag.

According to Metro, Manchester United are nearing a deal to sign Noussair Mazraoui after reaching an agreement with the Bayern Munich defender over a transfer to Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag, who has already bolstered his squad with French centre-back Leny Yoro and Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee this summer, is keen to make additional signings before the new season begins.

Mazraoui, with 55 appearances for Bayern Munich and 28 caps for Morocco, has become a target for Manchester United as they look to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka. United invested £50 million in Wan-Bissaka five years ago but are now prepared to sell him for just £15 million this summer.

The 26-year-old former Crystal Palace player has been linked with a move back to London, with West Ham interested in strengthening their squad under new manager Julen Lopetegui. Wan-Bissaka’s potential transfer to West Ham would clear the path for Mazraoui’s move to Manchester United. According to Foot Mercato, Mazraoui has already agreed terms with the Premier League club, and the transfer is expected to cost around £15 million, with an additional £5 million in add-ons going to Bayern Munich.

Ten Hag has frequently targeted his former players since taking charge at Manchester United, and Mazraoui was a key figure under him at Ajax. Mazraoui joined Bayern Munich in 2022 and has made 38 league appearances for the German club over two seasons.

In a recent match, Rasmus Hojlund gave Manchester United an early lead against Arsenal at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, but Arsenal came from behind thanks to goals from Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli. “I think [the game] was a very good level for the third week of pre-season, from both sides, but in the first half I thought we were the better team,” Ten Hag remarked. “We scored a very good goal, a very good ball in behind from [Marcus] Rashford and then [Rasmus] Hojlund with a very good move and a finish; I was very pleased. We also created some more good chances and then conceded the goal which was offside.”

Manchester United will continue their pre-season preparations against Spanish side Real Betis on Thursday.

They finished eighth in the Premier League last season and will face Manchester City in the Community Shield final on August 10.
