🚨 Reports are emerging that Cristiano Ronaldo’s Saudi Pro League side, Al-Nassr, are preparing a move for Manchester United midfielder Casemiro.

The Brazilian, who joined United from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022, still has a contract at Old Trafford that runs until 2026. However, his future has been under question following a challenging spell for the club.

Casemiro arrived at United with a reputation as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, instantly bringing steel and leadership to Erik ten Hag’s side. He played a vital role in securing the Carabao Cup in 2023, United’s first trophy in six years. Yet, injuries, inconsistency, and the overall struggles of the team have raised concerns about his long-term role. At 33, he remains a highly respected figure, but the pace and intensity of the Premier League have exposed weaknesses in his game.

Al-Nassr, led by Ronaldo, are eager to strengthen their midfield with world-class experience, and Casemiro fits the profile perfectly. His strong bond with Ronaldo, forged during their years at Real Madrid, makes the deal even more appealing. For Casemiro, the move could represent a fresh start in a less demanding league, while still earning a lucrative salary package.

From United’s perspective, allowing Casemiro to leave could free up significant wages and provide space for a younger, more dynamic midfielder to take his place. However, with his contract still running until 2026, Al-Nassr would likely need to present a tempting financial offer.

This potential reunion with Ronaldo would undoubtedly grab global headlines, underlining the Saudi Pro League’s ambition to lure more established stars from Europe. For now, talks remain at the early stage, but with the January transfer window on the horizon, this is a story to watch closely.
