According to reports, the Cameroonian goalkeeper personally requested a new contract yesterday, despite having already taken a 25% pay cut due to the clubβs failure to qualify for the Champions League this season. The pay reduction, a standard clause in Unitedβs player contracts, has left Onana frustrated, as he believes his performances still merit improved terms.
