The striker came to Real Madrid’s rescue again as he found himself in the right place at the right time to tap home a 94th minute winner in the Champions League

Jude Bellingham once again proved to be Real Madrid’s saviour after he scored a 94th minute winner to give Los Blancos a winning start in the Champions League against Union Berlin.

Bellingham’s start to life at the Santiago Bernabeu continues to go from strength to strength after he scored his sixth goal in as many games since making the £88.5million move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

A tough night In the Champions League looked certain that Real were going to begin Group C with a home draw against competition debutants Union Berlin before the England international stepped up to the plate again.

As the game ticked into the fourth minute of five added minutes, Toni Kroos took a short corner to Federico Valverde who smashed a shot goalwards. The Uruguayan’s effort was blocked before a deflection saw it fall the way of Bellingham inside the six yard box who had the simply job to tap home.

Chaos descended in the stands as Bellingham lapped with the celebrations with his team-mates whilst grabbing the Real badge on his chest.

Bellingham’s goal – which football fans branded on social media the ‘easiest he’ll ever score’ – is the fourth time this season he has netted the winning goal for Carlo Ancelotti’s side with him revelling in a new attacking midfield role.
