Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham are struggling with a number of injury issues ahead of their match against Liverpool. Ivan Perisic is unavailable with a knee injury and will return to action next month. Rodrigo Bentancur is still recovering and will probably be out for a few weeks.

 

Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil have both been ruled out due to thigh and groin injuries respectively. James Maddison was a doubt before the match, but he should return here. Summer signing Brennan Johnson has been ruled out after suffering a hamstring injury in his last game. Tottenham will probably line up with 4-2-3-1, with Guglielmo Vicario in goal. Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie will start at full-backs and will also want to contribute offensively in addition to their defensive duties. Cristian Romero will start the summer at the heart of the defense alongside Micky van de Ven.

Pape Matar Sarr will start from midfield with a double shift against Yves Bissouma. The two players will try to interrupt the opponent’s attack and win the ball back for the team.
